Pirate Radio

I have fallen in love yet again... but not with another human,.. with a movie.. Pirate Radio. Wonderful movie.. i really do suggest you go and watch it! The soundtrack is brilliant!! It's got The Hollies, The Who, The Kinks, The Easybeats, John Fred and his play boy band... oh god it's wonderful :) Go rent it!! Now!!

HAIR

So if i haven't told you already I am in the play HAIR. If you don't know what that is.. shame on you go rent it at the nearby video store. Anyways, I am in HAIR but I have dilemma... I don't have hair! Ok of course I have hair I just don't have a lot of it.. I have a pixie cut :) so I need hair for this play... I went and bought a wig. A twirly, curly, red, long wig... for ten bucks.. I know I know, I'm cheap. BUt on sunday at rehearsel I had to wear it so that I could see if it would fall off.. Of course one of my friends at rehearsel had to say " Why it's little orphan Annie!".... That just made my day! Now I don't feel comfortable wearing it and I lose the energy that I need on stage. Thanks. Now when I wear it I hear "orphan annie orphan annie orphan annie...".... Aren't friends nice??

Hong Kong Garden

I have one of the best songs I have ever heard.... Its called " Hong Kong Garden" and it is amazing! I don't know what it is about the song but every time I hear it I just stop what I'm doing and I go grab my self some candy. It's the sam thing when I hear " i want candy" but thats kind of a given. So anyways I recommend that you all go listen to Hong Kong Garden! :)

Downtown Victoria :)

So My friend and I decided that we were going to take our japanese home stay downtown and take them to all these cool shops.. Of course they want to go to all the tourist shops. But I was ok with that. Did you know that tourist shops have THE COOLEST stuff ever!!! And really god candy too its insaaane! but then after the tourist shops we went to clothing stores. Of course I bought stuff in every store but I thought I was buying all sales items so it would be cheap..... My mistake. I spent $150 and my parents are soooo mad. Want to hear my excuse?? " But Mom you always told me to go for sale items so I did! And they were all marked down so much I couldn't let it pass. Besides you spend more to get your hair down every month and I haven't been shopping in three months!" ..... I got away with it lolz. And then my friends home stay sister decided she wanted to match me lol. So she spent $105 in a tourist shop.. but only on Maple Cookies!! To whoever is out there, can you at least make a comment so I know at least one person is listening? Thanks!

Japan

So my friend Claudia and I have decided that we want to do a Japan Relief performance. We have all the people we need and the right ideas and the enthusiasm... but today (duhn duhn duhn...) we have to talk with the school principle about it. I don't do well with talking to authority and just watch me say something real stupid or make one of my jokes, which it turns out are not funny like I thought they were...  So  I am a little nervous. Plus my Japanese home stay is leaving tomorrow and I don't want her to. She pretty much the sister I've never had and I have never been so happy in my life. It'll be major drama when she leaves so be prepared my friends lol. Then there is also HAIR (the play I'm in). I'm beginning to feel a little drama  starting there and this time I don't think it'll pass over.... Do you ever get the feeling that you're calm happy life is about to explode in any second?? Well lucky me I've got that feeling :P Oh well I'll stop complaining because my problems are tiny compared to a lot of other peoples. But thanks for listening :)

Hello,
To whoever is out there listening to this, I am Emily. An Actress/dancer/singer who has fallen in love with Photography. My dad has given me his 40 year old camera and I swear I take it everywhere with me! I have used five rolls of 36 at speed 400 and I do believe I am annoying anyone who crosses me with my Camera :) But I don't care because my pictures have turned out great! (Except for the ones where I forgot that I had a black and white roll, oopsies) I had only known of one other person who likes photography but they don't have a film Camera. But now I have met the coolest people who both have film and I am soo excited!! Anywas, I know this is pretty boring but i'm still getting the hang of it so keep listening whoever you are and be prepared for more updates from The Lone Pixie :)
